Me Made June Week #2

Just a quickie update on the MMJ project. It’s hot. It’s really really hot. I’m uncomfortable and keep wearing the same things. I wore the shirt/skirt conversion twice, and my climbing vine lace sweater once.

I don’t have a proper picture of my sweater and I’m not putting it on again until this heatwave abates.

Thursday was better (and I stayed in and sewed). I dug out my embroidered peasant blouse that I made in 2002 right after college. The fabric is repurposed from an old cotton sheet, and the floral transfer came from a 1940s apron pattern. I wore it with black flipflops and a pair of black/white striped canvas sailor-style capri pants.
